Background: This study aimed to evaluate the diagnostic performance of Ga-PSMA-11 PET/MRI in prostate cancer (PC) with biochemical recurrence (BCR) after radical prostatectomy (RP). It was also aimed to develop a nomogram to predict PET/MRI positivity.
Methods: The data of 140 PC patients who underwent Ga-PSMA-11 PET/MRI for BCR after RP were retrospectively analyzed.

Owing to their unique combination of magnetic and optical properties, luminescent polychlorinated radicals are promising candidates for advanced applications in both optoelectronics and quantum technologies. In this study, we employ the lineshape formalism within a computational protocol based on time-dependent density functional theory (TD-DFT) to investigate the excited-state properties of six representative members of this family presenting different sizes and excited-state characters. We explore a wide range of density functionals, applying or not the Tamm-Dancoff approximation (TDA), combined with different vibronic models, namely, the vertical gradient (VG), vertical Hessian (VH), and adiabatic Hessian (AH), as well as dipole moment expansions using the Franck-Condon (FC) and Herzberg-Teller (HT) approximations.

Introduction: Surgical strategies for severe scoliosis often necessitate extensive approaches and major osteotomies to achieve optimal results. The objective of this study is to assess the perioperative outcomes of severe AIS patients with Cobb angle ≥100° undergoing single-staged posterior spinal fusion (PSF) without major osteotomies and pre-operative halo traction.
Research Question: Is it feasible to perform a single-stage PSF without major osteotomies for AIS patients with Cobb angle ≥100°?
Material And Methods: Thirty-five severe AIS patients with Cobb angle ≥100° who underwent single-staged PSF without major osteotomies or pre-operative halo traction between 2019 and 2023 in a single tertiary centre were recruited.

Guidance recently released by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regarding tattoo inks describes tattooing as an injection process, but is injection the correct terminology to use when describing tattooing? This perspective aims to provide a brief overview of the core mechanics and science behind injection and tattoo processes, as well as emphasize the importance of using the correct terminology when referencing tattoos and the act of tattooing moving forward. STATEMENT OF SIGNIFICANCE: Due to a change in the FDA regulatory framework around cosmetics in December 2022, for the first time the FDA is in the process of actively regulating tattoo inks. Central to how tattoos will be regulated is whether tattoos and tattooing should be considered an injectable process.
