Traditional radio monitoring and management largely depend on radio spectrum data analysis, which requires considerable domain experience and heavy cognition effort and frequently results in incorrect signal judgment and incomprehensive situation awareness. Faced with increasingly complicated electromagnetic environments, radio supervisors urgently need additional data sources and advanced analytical technologies to enhance their situation awareness ability. This paper introduces a visual analytics approach for electromagnetic situation awareness. Guided by a detailed scenario and requirement analysis, we first propose a signal clustering method to process radio signal data and a situation assessment model to obtain qualitative and quantitative descriptions of the electromagnetic situations. We then design a two-module interface with a set of visualization views and interactions to help radio supervisors perceive and understand the electromagnetic situations by a joint analysis of radio signal data and radio spectrum data. Evaluations on real-world data sets and an interview with actual users demonstrate the effectiveness of our prototype system. Finally, we discuss the limitations of the proposed approach and provide future work directions.

Background: Calcium pyrophosphate dihydrate (CPPD) deposition disease at the craniocervical junction (CCJ) typically presents with a retro-odontoid pseudotumor. Here, the authors report a case of CPPD-induced basilar impression, causing vertebral artery (VA) dissection and hemorrhage.
Observations: A 65-year-old male presented with worsening chronic cervicalgia, occipital headaches, and unstable tandem gait.

Nearly 14% of Americans have chronic kidney disease (CKD), which includes persistent decrements in glomerular filtration rate or the presence of albuminuria. Although CKD is commonly attributed to diabetes or hypertension, there is growing awareness of the interplay among cardiovascular, kidney, and metabolic health. Progression of CKD can result in metabolic abnormalities and end-stage kidney disease, but cardiovascular events are even more common.

Background: Approximately 69% of Americans with spinal cord injury (SCI) have neuropathic pain. Research suggests that impairments in mental body representations (MBRs; ie, representations of the body in the brain) likely contribute to neuropathic pain. Clinical trials in adults with SCI, focused on restoring MBR, led to improvements in sensation and movement as well as neuropathic pain relief.

Introduction: Neglected tropical diseases (NTDs) are a priority in the public health agenda for Côte d'Ivoire, with persons living with disabilities due to NTDs (PD-NTDs) experiencing many challenges in their daily lives. Current policies do not sufficiently support PD-NTDs, thereby highlighting the need to identify opportunities for policy improvement.
Methods: This study was carried out in two phases: first to identify the current needs (formative phase) and then to develop a pilot strategy (implementation phase).

Background: A high onchocerciasis disease burden and a low coverage of community-directed treatment with ivermectin (CDTI) have been observed in many parts of South Sudan. In the Maridi County, CDTI was re-introduced in 2017 and various interventions implemented to improve coverage.
Methods: Through successive community-based surveys, we investigated whether an onchocerciasis awareness campaign and a switch from annual to bi-annual distribution of ivermectin in Maridi County increased CDTI coverage.
