The purpose of this article was to introduce an easy and inexpensive way of making a simulator for training in Doppler ultrasound flow rate measurement using a continuous renal replacement therapy machine and home-made phantoms. A Doppler ultrasound flow simulator was made using a continuous renal replacement therapy machine and vascular phantoms for flow rate assessment of dialysis access with readily accessible components including rubber tube, keyboard cleaning gel, and freeze-dried instant coffee granules. The simulator is an affordable and easy method of Doppler ultrasound flow rate measurement training for dialysis staff using materials readily available in dialysis centers.

Background: Orthostatic hypotension (OH) is prevalent in older adults and is often associated with falls. However, the presence or absence of symptoms in OH may be mediated by cerebral autoregulation, which helps maintain cerebral perfusion during blood pressure fluctuations.
Methods: We recruited 40 older adults (aged ≥ 55 years) from the Malaysian Elders Longitudinal Research (MELoR) cohort.

Primary cardiac lymphoma (PCL) is one of the rarest primary malignancies of the heart. This report describes a rare presentation of diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) in a 61-year-old woman from Iran who presented with weakness, dyspnea, and bilateral lower extremity edema, especially on the right side that progressively worsened over 2 years. Initial diagnostic workup, including laboratory tests, color Doppler ultrasound, and echocardiography, revealed a large immobile mass attached to the RA wall.

However, ear space (otogenic) infections are one of the atypical causes of LS and have been rarely reported. We present a case of a male in his 20s with a history of recurrent acute otitis media (RAOM) who presented with purulent ear discharge, fever, neck pain, and swelling for a week.

Introduction: Micro-RNAs (miRNAs) participate in different biological processes, including fetal hypoxia. In this work, we aimed to evaluate the existence of a miRNA differential expression profile in maternal blood of pregnancies affected with late-onset fetal growth restriction (LO-FGR).
Methods: In a prospective study, a group of 35 fetuses were evaluated with Doppler ultrasound after 36 weeks.

The hypertrophied column of Bertin (HCB) is a benign anatomical variant of the renal cortex that may mimic a neoplastic mass, particularly on ultrasound, potentially leading to unnecessary diagnostic or surgical interventions. We report the case of a nine-year-old girl in whom a renal lesion was incidentally discovered during follow-up imaging for a post-traumatic subcapsular hematoma. Renal ultrasound revealed an isoechoic mass in the mid-portion of the left kidney, extending into the renal sinus.
