Rationale: Systematic reviews are essential for evidence-based healthcare decision-making. While it is relatively straightforward to quantitatively assess random errors in systematic reviews, as these are typically reported in primary studies, the assessment of biases often remains narrative. Primary studies seldom provide quantitative estimates of biases and their uncertainties, resulting in systematic reviews rarely including such measurements.

Introduction: Acupuncture has gained recognition in modern health care for its effectiveness in managing chronic pain, reducing stress, and enhancing well-being.
Discussion: Despite this, the acupuncture profession in the United States faces significant challenges, including the disconnect between education and job markets, the encroachment of other health professionals such as physical therapists, preference for medical doctors over licensed acupuncturists in medical establishments, and inconsistent entry standards that affect care quality. Fragmented regulations and public misconceptions further undermine the profession's credibility.

Pretraining plays a pivotal role in acquiring generalized knowledge from large-scale data, achieving remarkable successes as evidenced by large models in CV and NLP. However, progress in the graph domain remains limited due to fundamental challenges represented by feature heterogeneity and structural heterogeneity. Recent efforts have been made to address feature heterogeneity via Large Language Models (LLMs) on text-attributed graphs (TAGs) by generating fixed-length text representations as node features.

Incorporating non-natural amino acids (NNAAs) into peptides enhances therapeutic properties, including binding affinity, metabolic stability, and half-life time. The pursuit of novel NNAAs for improved peptide designs faces the challenge of effective synthesis of these building blocks as well as the entire peptide itself. Solid-Phase Peptide Synthesis (SPPS) is an essential technology for the automated assembly of peptides with NNAAs, necessitating careful protection for effective coupling of amino acids in the peptide chain.

Despite extensive investigations into the genetic predisposition to IDD, the precise pathogenic genes and molecular pathways involved remain inadequately characterized, underscoring the need for continued research to clarify its genetic underpinnings.
Methods: This study leveraged IDD data from the FinnGen R12 cohort and integrated expression quantitative trait loci data across 49 tissues from the Genotype-Tissue Expression version 8 database to perform a cross-tissue transcriptome-wide association study (TWAS).
