Guided by the life-course perspective, this study contributes to the family caregiving, aging, and disability literature by examining the daily experiences of three types of family caregivers in midlife and late adulthood. A sample of 162 caregivers from the National Survey of Midlife in the United States study completed interviews, questionnaires, and a Daily Diary Study. Multilevel models showed the patterns of daily time use did not differ by caregiver types. Caregivers of sons/daughters with developmental disabilities (DD) experienced more daily stressors than caregivers of parents with health conditions (HC) and caregivers of spouses with HC. Unmarried caregivers of sons/daughters with DD reported spending more time on daily leisure activities and exhibited greater daily stressor exposure than other family caregivers. Age did not moderate the associations between caregiver types and daily experiences. Findings highlight the important consideration of the caregivers' characteristics to better determine the quality of their daily experiences in midlife and late adulthood.

Tiredness may be associated with increased or decreased sexual experience and behavior while fatigue seems to have a predominantly negative effect, although evidence is scarce. This ecological momentary assessment study is the first to examine associations between tiredness or fatigue and concurrent / subsequent sexual desire or sexual arousal and previous / subsequent sexual activity in daily life, including event-based measurements and considering gender differences. Healthy heterosexual individuals (n = 63), aged between 19 and 32 years and in a relationship, indicated their tiredness, general fatigue, physical fatigue, sexual desire, and sexual arousal on an iPod seven times daily over 14 days, and any event-based occurrences of sexual activity.

Purpose: Given the increased likelihood for individuals with severe asthma to experience comorbidities, disease complications, emergency room visits, and hospitalizations, the ability to stratify asthma populations on severity is often important. Although pharmacoepidemiologic studies using administrative healthcare databases sometimes categorize asthma severity, there is no consensus on an approach.
Methods: Individuals with asthma (≥ 2 ICD-10-CM diagnosis codes J45) aged ≥ 6 years were identified in Optum's de-identified Clinformatics Data Mart Database between January 2017 and November 2023.

Background: Patients with pulmonary hypertension (PH) experience reduced physical capacity, which affects daily life functionality. Frailty signifies increased vulnerability due to diminished physiological reserves and is common in the elderly and those with chronic diseases, but has not been investigated in PH. This study aimed to create a frailty index for PH, to assess the prevalence of frailty, to determine frailty severity and progression over time and to establish a potential association between frailty and mortality in patients with PH.

Background: The increasing prevalence of dermatological diseases will pose a growing challenge to the health care system and, in particular, to general practitioners (GPs) as the first point of contact for these patients. In many countries, primary care physicians are supported by teledermatology services.
Objective: The aim of this study was to detect learning effects and gains among GPs through teledermatology consultations (TCs) in daily practice.

Background: Little is known about the characteristics of adults with bronchiectasis in France.
Methods: A descriptive cross-sectional study was conducted to describe the characteristics of adults (≥18 years) with clinically-significant bronchiectasis, diagnosed on a combination of respiratory symptoms and CT scan findings, and followed in 18 participating centers. Data on, etiology, lung function, symptoms, microbiology, treatments and quality of life were collected.
