Introduction: Functional tests must be validated for the target population. It is also important that the professionals applying them know which tests are the most reliable. Some tests have a standard error of measurement (SEM), which needs to be considered, as does the minimal detectable change (MDC) used to quantitatively perceive clinical improvement.

In contrast to those with overt hepatic encephalopathy (OHE), patients with CHE have no readily identifiable clinical symptoms and signs, such as disorientation and asterixis, but present with neurocognitive abnormalities detected by neuropsychological and/or neurophysiological tests. Some patients may experience mild cognitive impairment, euphoria, or anxiety, and decreased attention and calculation abilities.

Background: The Managerial Ethical Profile (MEP) scale was developed to measure the perceived impact of different elements of common ethical frameworks on managerial ethical decision-making.
Aim: To translate, culturally adapt and perform preliminary psychometric testing of the MEP scale in the Finnish health and social care sector.
Design: The MEP scale was translated and culturally adapted according to the International Society for Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research (ISPOR) protocol based on a cross-sectional online survey.

Objective: To investigate differences between the structural aspects and laryngeal functionality before and after a vocal loading activity and their association with symptoms of vocal fatigue (VF).
Methods: Young adults without vocal complaints and who use professional or nonprofessional voices participated in the research. Videolaryngostroboscopy (VLS) exams were performed before and after a vocal loading activity to which the participants were submitted, characterized by reading texts at high vocal intensity lasting 90 minutes.

: During pandemics, emergency departments face the challenge of managing critically ill patients with limited resources. Point-of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS) has emerged as a crucial diagnostic tool in such scenarios. This study aimed to develop a standardized POCUS protocol using expert consensus via a modified Delphi survey to guide physicians in managing these patients more effectively.
