Epidermoid cysts are rare. They represent the most common benign tumor of the testis. The sonographic appearances of testicular epidermoid cysts usually include avascular, mostly lamellated, heterogeneous internal echotexture, with hypoechoic and hyperechoic concentric rings, accounting for the typical onion-ring appearance. On MRI, epidermoid cysts show a low-signal-intensity center, with internal concentric rings of alternating high- and low-signal intensity on T2-weighted images, which correlates with the onion-ring appearance. We report a patient with testicular epidermoid cyst with atypical ultrasound and MRI appearances that led to the erroneous initial diagnosis of "burned-out" tumor. © 2016 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. To investigate the clinical features, surgical outcomes, and prognosis of testicular epidermoid cysts in children, to enhance the understanding of this rare benign lesion, reduce misdiagnosis and overtreatment, optimize clinical decision-making, and improve the quality of life in affected children. A retrospective analysis was conducted on the clinical data of 23 pediatric patients with testicular epidermoid cysts treated at our hospital between September 2015 and April 2024. Data collected included age, laterality, disease duration, AFP levels, tumor size, operative time, intraoperative blood loss, and length of hospital stay.

Background: To address soft tissue volume deficiencies following surgery or injury, plastic surgeons implant de-epithelialized flaps subcutaneously. During this procedure, residual epidermal components and skin appendages may inadvertently be implanted, potentially leading to postoperative complications. However, such occurrences are rare in clinical practice.

Background: Fat grafts are frequently used for tissue augmentation, scar regeneration, shaping of body contours and body rejuvenation. However one of the biggest disadvantages of fat grafting is unpredictable graft loss. According to studies, graft resorption occurs at varying rates after autologous fat graft applications.

Testicular epidermoid cysts (TECs) are rare benign intratesticular lesions that can clinically and radiologically mimic malignant germ cell tumors. We report two cases of adolescent males presenting with painless testicular nodules. Imaging findings-characteristic concentric echogenic rings, absence of vascularity, and normal tumor markers-suggested TECs.

Introduction And Importance: Intracranial dermoid cysts are rare benign tumors that originate from abnormal ectodermal cells containing epidermal features. Depending on the size and location of the lesion, these tumors can be asymptomatic or cause focal neurological deficits. This study describes a rare case of intraosseous parietal intracranial dermoid.
