Traumatic injuries to the dento-alveolar structures are emergencies that compromise the quality of life of the patients. In addition to symptomatic management, definitive functional restoration and suitable rehabilitation becomes a major treatment objective in such cases. The dynamics of the traumatic forces may cause multiple injuries of different grades to the oral and para-oral structures, which makes comprehensive management a greater challenge to the dentist. The present case report elaborates a modified esthetic splint designed to treat multiple dental injuries in children, which can promote healing, restore optimal functionality along with esthetic rehabilitation to psychologically benefit the child during the time of recovery.

Prominauris is the most common congenital ear deformity, presenting in 5 % of the global population, and most patients endorse negative experiences or aesthetic dissatisfaction as motivation for corrective otoplasty. Mustarde-Furnas is a popular otoplasty technique among pediatric patients. Given the cosmetic intention, result consistency is highly important in otoplasty, which our modification of the Mustarde technique aims to address.

Radiotherapy, a prevalent and effective treatment for various malignancies, often causes collateral damage to normal skin and soft tissues in the irradiated area. To address this, we developed a novel approach combining SVFG-modified adipose-derived high-activity matrix cell clusters (HAMCC) with concentrated growth factors (CGF) to enhance regeneration and repair of radiation-induced skin and soft tissue injuries. Our study included cellular assays, wound healing evaluations, and histological analyses.

Human immunodeficiency virus (HIV)-associated lipodystrophy is a well-recognized complication of long-term antiretroviral therapy (ART), characterized by abnormal fat distribution. In the head and neck, it typically present as an obtuse heavy neck combined with accelerated midfacial atrophy, causing significant aesthetic concerns and psychosocial distress. Conventional treatments, including ART modifications, have limited effectiveness, and changes are often irreversible.
