Adaptation in complex systems implies a natural ability to change. In networks, adaptation may include a change in structural connectivity, which can lead to a change in collective behavior. When dihedral symmetry is present, i.

Biomolecular dynamics in the microsecond-to-millisecond (µs-ms) timescale are linked to various biological functions, such as enzyme catalysis, allosteric regulation, and ligand recognition. In solution state NMR, Carr-Purcell-Meiboom-Gill (CPMG) relaxation dispersion experiments are commonly used to probe µs-ms timescale motions, providing detailed kinetic, thermodynamic, and mechanistic information at the atomic level. For investigating conformational dynamics in high-molecular-weight biomolecules, methyl groups serve as ideal probes due to their favorable relaxation properties, and C CPMG relaxation dispersion is widely employed for characterizing dynamics in selectively CH-labeled samples.

Transposing intensive care innovation from modern warfare to other resource-limited settings.

Eur J Trauma Emerg Surg

September 2025

French Military Medical Service Academy - École du Val-de-Grâce, Paris, France.

Background: Delivering intensive care in conflict zones and other resource-limited settings presents unique clinical, logistical, and ethical challenges. These contexts, characterized by disrupted infrastructure, limited personnel, and prolonged field care, require adapted strategies to ensure critical care delivery under resource-limited settings.

Objective: This scoping review aims to identify and characterize medical innovations developed or implemented in recent conflicts that may be relevant and transposable to intensive care units operating in other resource-limited settings.

Our Challenges, Our Solutions: The Impact of Autism on Families.

J Autism Dev Disord

September 2025

Institute of Child Protection Studies, Australian Catholic University, 223 Anthill Street, Canberra, 2602, Australia.

This study investigated how autism impacts the relationships between family members and the family unit. It aimed to provide a deeper qualitative understanding by incorporating the perspectives of autistic adolescents and their family members, adding depth to existing quantitative findings. This qualitative study involved audio-recorded semi-structured in-depth interviews with 40 participants, including mothers, fathers, siblings, and autistic adolescents, recruited through autism and disability agencies in Canberra, Australia.
