Background: Mitral regurgitation (MR) may rarely worsen after transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) due to mechanical interference from the transcatheter heart valve (THV). Standard surgical approaches in these cases are often challenging due to anatomical constraints. Thus, there is a need for the development of effective alternatives to address this issue.

Introduction: Understanding chronic stress as a potential risk factor for COVID-19 progression could inform public health measures and personalized preventive interventions. Therefore, we investigated the influence of chronic stress prior to SARS-CoV-2 infection on symptom persistence 1 month after COVID-19 onset.
Methods: The participants of this prospective cohort study named "StressLoC" were adults with COVID-19 who had tested positive for SARS-CoV-2 infection within the last 7 days.

The integration of mobile health (mHealth) technologies is transforming neurosurgery. Despite its potential, many uses remain unrealized due to the unique challenges and complexity of developing mHealth technology. While neurosurgeons bring invaluable clinical expertise and an understanding of patient needs, the technical intricacies of application development often require collaboration with developers and computer scientists, a process that can feel unfamiliar and difficult to navigate.

Rationale: Polycythemia vera (PV) is a type of myeloproliferative disorder, and thrombosis is one of its important complications. Arterial thrombosis commonly occurs in the coronary and cerebral arteries; however, reports of thrombosis in other arteries are limited, and it is even rarer in visceral arteries.
Patient Concerns: A 50-year-old woman with PV presented with anorexia and epigastric pain.

Rationale: AIRFLOW-3 was a 1:1 randomized, double blind, sham controlled trial of the d'Nerva Targeted Lung Denervation (TLD) System in patients with COPD.
Objective: Evaluate the impact of TLD on COPD exacerbations compared to optimal medical treatment.
Methods: AIRFLOW-3 patients were symptomatic (CAT ≥10) with moderate to very severe airflow obstruction (25% ≤ FEV ≤ 80% predicted) and GOLD E status (≥2 moderate or ≥1 severe exacerbation over prior 12 months).
