Female Autoandrophilia.

Arch Sex Behav

September 2025

, Portland, OR, 97212, USA.

A growing body of research suggests that males can have internalized sexualities such as autogynephilia (sexual attraction to the thought or image of oneself as female) which lead to the development of trans identity. Here I present evidence that females can have analogous internalized sexualities such as autoandrophilia (sexual attraction to the thought or image of oneself as male) which similarly lead to the development of trans identity. The case for female autoandrophilia presented here uses both direct and indirect lines of evidence.

Probiotics are live beneficial microorganisms that confer health benefits to the host when administered in adequate amounts, have gained considerable scientific and commercial interest for their ability to support gut health, strengthen immunity, and reduce disease risk. This review traces the genesis of probiotic science from its origins in traditional fermented foods to contemporary clinical applications, offering a conceptual understanding of its evolution. A clear distinction is drawn between endogenous probiotics, naturally resident in the human microbiome, and exogenous probiotics, introduced via dietary supplements and functional foods.

Department of Radiology, Otaru General Hospital, Otaru, Hokkaido, Japan.

In lung CT imaging, motion artifacts caused by cardiac motion and respiration are common. Recently, CLEAR Motion, a deep learning-based reconstruction method that applies motion correction technology, has been developed. This study aims to quantitatively evaluate the clinical usefulness of CLEAR Motion.

Atypical proximal tibial fractures in adolescents are rare, particularly when linked to hormonal therapy for short stature. This case series reports the clinical and imaging features of atypical proximal tibial and distal femoral physeal fractures in male adolescents undergoing combined growth hormone (GH) and aromatase inhibitor (AI) therapy for idiopathic short stature. We report three cases of skeletally immature male adolescents (ages 12-16) treated with GH and anastrozole who presented with acute leg pain following low-energy trauma during soccer.
