We present two cases highlighting novel prenatal ultrasound findings in atretic cephalocele (AC) using high-resolution ultrasound and microvascular flow imaging. This report includes the first prenatal ultrasound demonstration of key diagnostic AC features: superior sagittal sinus fenestration, observed in the parietal case, and a fibrous dural stalk, identified in both parietal and occipital cases. Both fetuses presented with a small midline scalp lesion, internal echoes, and an underlying bony defect without brain tissue herniation.

Background: Spinal arachnoid cysts can cause myelopathy through spinal cord compression. While MRI is the standard for diagnosis, traditional sequences may not clearly define cyst borders and septations, which are important for guiding surgical intervention. Balanced fast field echo (B-FFE) is an MRI sequence that highlights small arachnoid membranes within and at the borders of CSF spaces.

Anatomical vascular variants are frequently reported; however, their broader anatomical context and potential associations with additional variations are often overlooked. This case report presents a unique combination of multiple rare and novel cervical vascular anatomical variants identified in a single patient, thereby highlighting the importance of comprehensive anatomical assessment. A 64-year-old female patient underwent a computed tomography angiography, during which several unexpected anatomical variants were identified: bilaterally elongated styloid processes, with differing ossified segments; bilateral internal jugular vein (IJV) compression at the atlas transverse processes, consistent with jugular nutcracker syndrome; and bilateral Launay's external carotid veins, which drained into the IJVs and communicated via the prevertebral venous plexus.

Purpose: To describe a case of right posterior communicating artery (PCoA) arising from the extreme proximal internal carotid artery (ICA), paraclinoid segment, diagnosed by magnetic resonance angiography (MRA).

Methods: An 80-year-old woman with subacute hemorrhagic infarction of the right basal ganglia underwent MRA using a 3-Tesla scanner. MRA was performed using a standard 3-dimensional time-of-flight technique.

To assess the long-term progression of otosclerosis lesions on temporal bone CT, particularly with regard to lesion expansion, distribution, and changes in density. This retrospective study analyzed all patients who underwent HRCT or CBCT for the diagnosis of otosclerosis between 2012 and 2022. The study population was screened for the presence of follow-up imaging.
