Background: The aetiology of central nervous system lesions observed in cerebral cyclosporine neurotoxicity remains controversial.
Case Presentation: We report a 48-year-old woman with a non-severe aplastic anaemia who presented with stroke-like episodes while on cyclosporine treatment.Transcranial Doppler ultrasound revealed severely elevated flow velocities in several cerebral vessels, consistent with vasospasm. Immediately after reducing the cyclosporine dose, the stroke-like episodes disappeared. Only after cyclosporine withdrawal the transcranial Doppler ultrasound abnormalities fully resolved.
Conclusions: This case demonstrates a significant role of vasospasm in the pathway of cyclosporine-induced neurotoxicity. Transcranial Doppler ultrasound is an effective tool for the diagnosis and follow-up of cyclosporine-induced vasospasm.

Objectives: Recommendations regarding the use of third-trimester ultrasound lack universal consensus. Yet, there is evidence which supports its value in assessing fetal growth, fetal well-being, and a number of pregnancy-related complications. This literature review evaluates the available scientific evidence regarding its applications, usefulness, and the timing of the third-trimester scan in a low-risk population.

Objective: To investigate the reliability of lacrimal gland ultrasound (LGUS) in patients with clinically suspected Sjögren's disease (SjD).
Method: Of 41 consecutive patients with clinically suspected SjD, 28 were diagnosed with SjD and 13 were classified as non-SjD. Forty patients were scored for bilateral lacrimal gland (LG) B-mode evaluation; LGs were 'not visible' in one case.

Livestock grazing endophyte-infected (E+) tall fescue can exhibit persistent systemic vasoconstriction and fescue toxicosis. Isoflavones in legumes, most notably red clover (RC), are known hypotensive agents. The objective of the experiment was to evaluate the effect of isoflavone supplementation via RC hay, every day or every other day (QOD), on average daily gain (ADG) of steers grazing E+ tall fescue pastures and their physiological recovery after grazing when managed on a non-toxic diet (28-d).

Rationale: Systemic sclerosis (SS) is an immune-mediated connective disease characterized by skin fibrosis, microvascular damage, and multisystem manifestations. One of the most important processes in connective tissue disorders is vasculitis. The clinical findings can differ when the disease is presented with an antineutrophil cytoplasmic antibody.
