Background: Current diagnosis of brain disease in dogs is dependent on imaging and cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) analysis, including total nucleated cell counts and albumin concentrations.

Hypothesis/objectives: To determine whether multiplex cytokine/chemokine (Ct/Cm) analysis can differentiate among dogs with meningoencephalitis of unknown origin (MUE), idiopathic epilepsy (IE), and brain neoplasia.

Animals: Client owned dogs diagnosed with brain disease with MRI and CSF diagnostics.

Background: Neutropenia and diarrhea are common sacituzumab govitecan-related adverse events, frequently leading to treatment modifications. PRIMED evaluated primary prophylactic granulocyte colony-stimulating factor (G-CSF) and loperamide to improve sacituzumab govitecan tolerability.

Methods: PRIMED (NCT05520723) was an open-label, single-arm, phase II study that enrolled HER2-negative advanced breast cancer patients previously treated with 1-2 chemotherapy regimens for metastatic disease.

Introduction: Benralizumab is an interleukin 5-receptor-blocking drug registered for the treatment of eosinophilic asthma. It has proven efficient and safe in a small phase-II trial in hypereosinophilic syndrome and is currently being investigated in a larger, randomized phase-III trial. We report on real-world experience with benralizumab in 15 patients with severe Hypereosinophilic syndrome (HES) that were refractory to other treatments or on unacceptable steroid doses.

Neutrophil-mediated inflammation is a key feature of immune-mediated chronic skin disorders, but the mechanistic understanding of neutrophil involvement in these conditions remains incomplete. Dapsone, colchicine, and tetracyclines are established drugs within the dermatologist's therapeutic armamentarium that are credited with potent anti-neutrophilic effects. Anti-neutrophilic drugs have established themselves as versatile agents in the treatment of a wide range of dermatological conditions.

Evidence describing the use of plerixafor in the off-label population of relapsed/refractory germ cell tumors (GCT) is limited. We aim to describe the effect of rescue versus preemptive plerixafor use on apheresis collection days, collection yields, and cost. We retrospectively collected data on 77 consecutive patients (at least 15 years of age) with GCT who underwent peripheral blood stem cell (PBSC) collection for autologous stem cell transplant between January 1, 2020 and May 1, 2022.
