Objective: To evaluate the impact of occlusion type and artificial intelligence-based computer-aided design (CAD) software on the geometric accuracy and clinical quality of auto-generated anterior and posterior crown designs.
Methods: Five typodont models representing various occlusion types (normal, Class I anterior diastema, Class II division 1, Class II division 2, and Class III anterior crossbite occlusion) underwent crown preparation for the maxillary right central incisor and first molar. Ten sets of intraoral scans were obtained from each prepared model, and crown designs were automatically generated using two software programs: deep learning-based (DL; Dentbird) and conventional automated (CA; Auto Workflow, 3Shape) (n = 10).

Background: Alterations in the anatomy of the inferior turbinate and nasal floor have been linked to airway resistance and dento-skeletal malocclusions. Few studies have quantified these relationships using cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT). This study aimed to determine whether the morphology and volume of the inferior nasal turbinate and adjacent structures differ among sagittal dento-skeletal patterns.

Objective: Anti-vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) therapies have transformed the management of neovascular age-related macular degeneration, diabetic macular edema, and macular edema secondary to retinal vein occlusion (RVO). This class-wide pharmacovigilance study evaluated the disproportionality of reported ocular adverse events (AEs) among anti-VEGF agents using real-world data.
Design: A population-based, observational pharmacovigilance study.

Objectives: Sigmoid sinus (SS) compression and injury is associated with postoperative SS occlusion and corresponding morbidity. Leaving the SS skeletonized with a thin boney protection during surgery might be favorable. This study quantifies the effect of the SS position on the operative exposure in the translabyrinthine approach and assesses the feasibility of retracting a skeletonized SS.

Introduction: Intracranial vertebral artery dissecting aneurysms (IVADAs) represent a rare but challenging condition associated with high morbidity and mortality. In the therapeutic landscape, endovascular interventions such as Flow Diversion (FD) and Stent-Assisted Coiling (SAC) are widely used for the management of IVADAs. The aim of this systematic review and meta-analysis is to compare the clinical outcomes and complications associated with FD and SAC techniques in the endovascular management of IVADAs.
