High-fidelity intracellular electrophysiological recording of cardiomyocytes is fundamental to cardiac research and drug development, which is still hindered by technical challenges in achieving stable, long-term intracellular access. Here, we introduce a platform based on thermally oxidized ZnO nanowire electrodes (TONEs), which directly integrate nanowires in patterned microelectrodes via scalable thermal oxidation. The three-dimensional nanointerface facilitates minimally invasive electroporation for high-quality intracellular action potential recordings compared with conventional planar electrodes.

Introduction And Importance: Scalp arteriovenous malformations (SAVMs) are rare high-flow vascular lesions with complex angioarchitecture, often involving both superficial and deep components. When the malformation extends toward the skull base or includes deep venous drainage, traditional transarterial or percutaneous access may be insufficient. While direct puncture techniques have gained traction, transosseous access via emissary veins has not previously been described.

Introduction: Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD) is a psychiatric condition characterized by an excessive preoccupation with perceived flaws in physical appearance, often resulting in significant emotional distress and impaired functioning. Although social influences are believed to contribute to the development of BDD, their specific impact remains underexplored, especially among males in the Middle East. This study aims to investigate the relationship between BDD symptoms and social factors, with a particular emphasis on the role of social media among adult males in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
