Sudden visual disturbances are of significant concern and often among the most challenging scenarios for emergency providers in underserved communities without on-call ophthalmology services. Vulnerable areas in emergency training vary among nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and even physicians. Urgent and non-urgent ophthalmology disorders are commonly cited in the literature as one of the most challenging areas for emergency providers.

We present a least square state estimator regularized by state purity to accomplish the task of quantum state tomography and entanglement verification, and report an experimental validation on a superconducting processor. First, a scalable full-state tomography is achieved with state fidelity 0.8217(1) for the 9-qubit W state and 0.

Background: Carotid artery stenosis is a major cause of stroke. Non-contrast MR angiography (MRA) using time-spatial labeling inversion pulse (Time-SLIP) may offer potential advantages over 3D time-of-flight (TOF)-MRA for simultaneous visualization of carotid, vertebral, and subclavian arteries, but remains uninvestigated.
Purpose: To determine optimal black blood inversion time (TI) for visualizing the carotid and subclavian arteries using three-dimensional (3D) fast field echo (FFE) Time-SLIP MRA, and to compare its image quality with 3D TOF-MRA.

Introduction: Physician assistant programs use summative evaluations to assess near graduates, with many using the PA Education Association (PAEA) End of Curriculum (EOC) exam to assess the medical knowledge component. Accurate identification of those students at risk of low Physician Assistant National Certifying Examination (PANCE) performance is imperative. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the relationship between the outcomes of the PAEA EOC exam and the PANCE.

Objectives: A thorough understanding of common practice patterns in a particular specialty can help identify and design new interventions to improve care delivery and access to care. The goals of this study were to document current practice patterns among veterinary "neurologists" and small animal "surgeons" in the surgical management of acute canine thoracolumbar intervertebral disc extrusion, to compare approaches between these two groups and to discuss current results compared to those published in 2016.
Materials And Methods: A web-based survey was distributed in October 2024 to collect responses from board-certified and regionally recognised neurology and surgery specialists in North America and Europe.
