Background: The incidence of pediatric pulmonary embolism is increasing, with varying clinical characteristics, severity, and prognosis. Compared with data from adults, data and knowledge regarding the prognosis of pediatric pulmonary embolism are scarce. This study aims to study the overall prognosis of pediatric pulmonary embolism and explore its influencing factors.

Objectives: To summarize the clinical and genetic characteristics of end-stage renal disease caused by gene mutations.
Methods: A retrospective analysis of the clinical and genetic features of three children from a family with gene mutations was conducted, along with a literature review of hereditary kidney disease cases caused by gene mutations.
Results: The proband was an 8-year-old male presenting with nephrotic syndrome stage 4 chronic kidney disease.

Objective: To study the clinicopathological features of children with lupus nephritis (LN) with positive anti-neutrophil cytoplasmic antibody (ANCA).
Methods: A retrospective analysis was performed for the children who were diagnosed with LN in the First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University from January 2003 to December 2019. According to the results of serum ANCA, they were divided into two groups: ANCA-positive group (=59) and ANCAnegative group (=454).
