Background: New Zealand's End of Life Choice Act 2019 was enacted in 2021, allowing terminally ill people experiencing unbearable suffering to request assisted dying if they are expected to die within six months. Healthcare professionals not directly involved in assisted dying provision may have unique perspectives on implementation, yet this remains under-explored.

Methods: This qualitative study was conducted between June and November 2022.

The Hepatitis B vaccine's safety profile is considered safe, but sometimes neurological complications, like Bell's palsy (acute peripheral facial neuropathy), can occur after its administration. A 35-year-old female doctor experienced left-sided facial weakness and paralysis six days after getting the Hepatitis B vaccine. On examination, she had lower motor neuron facial nerve palsy.

Anterior Spinal Artery Syndrome After Bronchial Embolization for Hemoptysis: A Case Report and Literature Review.

Background: Bronchial artery embolization (BAE) is the established first-line treatment for patients presenting with massive haemoptysis, a life-threatening condition that can occur because of numerous underlying diseases. BAE is a relatively safe procedure with control of haemorrhage achieved in 77%-90% of cases and rare occurrence of complications. Spinal cord infarction is one such rare complication, which can have severe implications in terms of morbidity.
