Objective: An increasing percentage of the population participates in the "gig economy" - short-term work through online applications. This study often requires continuous travel without reliable restroom access. We aimed to assess toileting behaviors and bladder health in gig economy workers.

We sought to quantify the rural-urban disparities that may exist in access to endovascular thrombectomy (EVT) for patients experiencing strokes with large vessel occlusions in Colorado.
Methods: This was a retrospective cohort study looking at all Colorado residents aged ≥18 years with large vessel occlusions undergoing EVT, between January 1, 2015, and November 30, 2022.
Hematopoietic stem and progenitor cell (HSPC) transplantation is an essential therapy for hematological conditions, but finer definitions of human HSPC subsets with associated function could enable better tuning of grafts and more routine, lower-risk application. To deeply phenotype HSPCs, following a screen of 328 antigens, we quantified 41 surface proteins and functional regulators on millions of CD34 and CD34 cells, spanning four primary hematopoietic tissues: bone marrow, mobilized peripheral blood, cord blood, and fetal liver. We propose more granular definitions of HSPC subsets and present detailed differentiation trajectories of erythroid and myeloid lineages.

A framework that can do so is the steepest-entropy-ascent quantum thermodynamic (SEAQT) framework, which is used here to describe the uptake of As(V) on graphene oxide (GO) across pollutant concentrations of 25-350 mg L. A nonequilibrium equation of motion derived from the steepest-entropy-ascent principle for a five-component system (water, arsenic, two GO functional groups, and H) is solved with an energy eigenstructure generated by a Replica-Exchange Wang-Landau algorithm and then extrapolated to relevant contaminant concentrations via an artificial neural network.

However, delaying fertilizer application by 4-5 weeks after planting usually results in warmer temperatures which promote ammonia (NH) volatilization losses. This 3-year study on a clay loam soil compared NH losses, NO emissions, and corn (Zea mays L.
