We compared changes in the expression of the cytokine profile modified by SARS-CoV-2 and influenza virus in an in vitro experiment. A mixed population of immunocytes (T-helpers, B cells, NK cells, cytotoxic T lymphocytes, and monocytes) was isolated from peripheral venous blood samples (n = 32) of conditionally healthy male donors aged 25-35 years. The modifying factors were recombinant adenovirus particles of 26 and 5 serotypes containing the gene encoding S protein of SARS-CoV-2, as well as vaccine antigens (hemagglutinins) of influenza virus type A (H1N1 and H2N3) and type B.

This study investigates the optimization of L-PBF process parameters for a Ni-Cr-Mo-Nb-based superalloy using an integrated three-stage methodology. Stage A applies Grey Relational Analysis to identify the most favourable parameter sets.

In this work, we elaborate a procedure for the synthesis of thin films consisting of vertically and/or horizontally oriented WS nanoparticles by sulfurizing nanometer-thick tungsten layers deposited on oxidized silicon substrates using magnetron sputtering. According to X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and Raman scattering data, WS films grown in an H-containing atmosphere at 1000 °C are almost free of tungsten oxide.

The peculiarities of the self-assembly process of gel formation in the dark and under visible-light exposure were studied using a complex of modern physico-chemical methods of analysis, including viscosimetry, UV spectroscopy, dynamic light scattering, electrophoretic light scattering, scanning electron microscopy, energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy, and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. In the dark phase, the formation of weak snot-like gels takes place in a quite narrow IO ion concentration range.
