Aim: The study aimed to explore the association between duration of smartphone usage and tear film parameters in adolescents through a hospitalbased cross-sectional study.
Material And Methods: A detailed history regarding smartphone usage was obtained, followed by tear film assessment for all the study participants. Tear meniscus height (TMH), Tear film break up time (TBUT), and Schirmer's I test were done for all participants.

Cervical cancer continues to be a critical public health concern globally, with increasing mortality rates, particularly in Low- and Middle-Income Countries (LMICs) where healthcare resources remain limited. With more than 300,000 fatalities each year, it is the fourth most frequent cancer in women globally. Long-term infection with carcinogenic Human Papillomavirus (HPV) variants, which cause cancer through viral proteins including E5, E6, and E7, is the leading cause of cervical cancer.

Background: The critical-sized bone defect is larger for an organism to heal on its own, and hence, autografting is performed in these cases (e.g., pubic bone), but the amount of tissue regenerated is less; hence, an alternative treatment performed is bone tissue engineering where a temporary constrict is kept, and hence, bone forms and the constrict degrades on its own.

Background: The prevalence of cervical cancer has substantially increased, leading to global apprehension. The signaling pathway governs many cellular differentiation processes that occur during embryonic development and adulthood.
Aim: Our study has mostly focused on discovering inhibitory plant chemicals, specifically flavonoids, that can block the Notch signaling pathway owing to the numerous adverse effects associated with standard treatments.
Möbius syndrome (MBS) is a rare congenital disorder characterized by facial and abducens palsy which is usually bilateral and may involve multiple cranial nerves. Additional features, such as craniofacial anomalies, tongue malformations, and limb defects, may also be present. The etiology of this syndrome is not well established but the ischemic necrosis of the brainstem leading to hypoplasia of the cranial nerve nuclei is the supposed to be most likely one.

This review provides a comprehensive account of advances in the field of cholinesterase inhibitors isolated from the Buxaceae family. Naturally occurring anticholinesterases derived from plants are considered to be a potential source of new drug candidates for treating Alzheimer's disease (AD). AD is now universally accepted as an irreversible, incurable, and progressive neurological disorder.

The widely prescribed first-line anti-epileptic drugs (AEDs) are considered to be a potent inducer of CYP1A1 and have also been observed to affect serum estradiol and calcium levels in patients with epilepsy. However, the ability of AEDs to interfere with CYP enzyme function and estrogen disposition is a relatively unexplored area.

An aberrant increase in cancer incidences has demanded extreme attention globally despite advancements in diagnostic and management strategies. The high mortality rate is concerning, and tumour heterogeneity at the genetic, phenotypic, and pathological levels exacerbates the problem. In this context, lack of early diagnostic techniques and therapeutic resistance to drugs, sole awareness among the public, coupled with the unavailability of these modern technologies in developing and low-income countries, negatively impact cancer management.

Background: Wilson's disease (WD) results from pathogenic ATP7B gene variations, causing copper accumulation mainly in the liver, brain, and kidneys.
Objectives: In India, despite studies on ATP7B variants, WD often goes undiagnosed, with the prevalence, carrier rate, and mutation spectrum remaining unknown.
Methods: A multicenter study examined genetic variations in WD among individuals of Indian origin via whole exome sequencing.

Cervical cancer has become a major worldwide health concern that demands attention to women's health and often needs more effective and specialized treatment options. Cervical cancer claims the lives of over 300,000 women globally, ranking as the fourth most prevalent cancer among women. The tumor microenvironment (TME) shapes a distinctive landscape for tumor survival, characterized by factors like immunosuppression, hypoxia, acidity, and nutrient scarcity.

The diagnostic potential of paramagnetic rim lesions (PRLs) has been previously established; however, the prognostic significance of these lesions has not previously been consistently described. This study aimed to establish the prognostic role of PRLs in MS with respect to the Expanded Disability Status Scale (EDSS) and rates of disability progression. Databases of PubMed, EMBASE, Scopus and reference lists of selected articles were searched up to 29/04/2023.

Materials And Methods: Prospective observational study on renal transplant recipients who presented with CRAI. Patient selection was done on the basis of clinical presentation, serum creatinine, and eGFR levels.
Purpose: Given the current scenario of increased smartphone use in youth, this study aims to evaluate the proportion of ocular symptoms and binocular dysfunction and their association with smartphone use in adolescents through a hospital-based cross-sectional study.
Methods: The participants were asked to fill out questionnaires related to smartphone use and symptoms of eyestrain experienced (Balik et al. and Kucer).

One important phytochemical is naringenin, which belongs to the flavanone class of polyphenols. It is found in citrus fruits, such as grapefruits, but it can also be found in tomatoes, cherries, and other food-grade medicinal plants. Naringenin has a significant chemotherapeutic promise, as several investigations have conclusively shown.

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) revealed compressive dorsal myelopathy due to an extramedullary tumor. Given the urgency of her symptoms and pregnancy status, a multidisciplinary team decided to proceed with surgery while avoiding radiation exposure (eg, O/C-arm).

Molecular docking is used to anticipate the optimal orientation of a particular molecule to a target to form a stable complex. It makes predictions about the 3D structure of any complex based on the binding characteristics of the ligand and the target receptor usually a protein. It is an exceptionally useful tool, which is used as a model to study how ligands attach to proteins.
