One of the biggest environmental challenges still facing wastewater treatment is the efficient breakdown of dye pollutants such as rhodamine B (RhB). The development of effective photocatalysts that function in sunlight and visible light can greatly improve wastewater treatment systems. Combining reduced graphene oxide (rGO) with silver/silver chloride core-shell nanowires (Ag/AgCl-NW) might offer special optical and structural properties that enhance its photocatalytic activity for RhB degradation.

An ultrasonic-assisted technique was first introduced for the production of natural rubber latex foam (NRLF). The flexible elastomeric foam was formed by a liquid-solid state transformation in an aqueous media. The aim of the current research was to provide a novel strategy for fabricating NRLF using ultrasonication and the Dunlop method, as well as to simultaneously utilize irradiation events to achieve the desired foam properties.

Needle-like hydroxyapatite nanoparticles were successfully synthesized via a reaction between calcium oxide (CaO) that was obtained from calcined limestone and orthophosphoric acid (HPO) under ultrasonic irradiation at 25 °C. The reaction systems were exposed to ultrasonic waves of 20 kHz for various times ranging from 0 to 4 h. The initial and final pH values of the mixtures of CaO and HPO solution were continuously observed (pH < 4.

Barium titanate (BaTiO) nanoparticles were successfully synthesized via a sonochemical method (25 kHz) at a constant temperature of 25 °C and atmospheric pressure without a calcination step. Barium hydroxide Ba(OH) and diisopropoxytitanium bis(acetylacetonate) (CHOTi) were used as the starting materials. The effects of the concentration of NaOH used and ultrasonic reaction time were investigated.
