Time-restricted feeding (TRF) may aid in weight loss and improve metabolic health; however, its long-term effects and applicability to all individuals remain unclear. This study investigated the impact of different dietary patterns on hepatic metabolism by subjecting mice to either a normal chow diet or a high-fat diet, allowing for ad libitum feeding, daytime restrictive feeding (DRF), or nighttime restrictive feeding (NRF). Using metabolic cages to assess energy intake, we found that the fuel utilization rhythms of DRF mice were disrupted compared to ad libitum-fed mice.

In view of the outdated data, we investigated the presenting characteristics, histological subtypes and outcomes of adult patients who underwent surgery for brain or spinal tumours at our institution.
Methods: A single-centre retrospective review of 501 patients who underwent surgery for brain or spinal tumours from 2016 to 2020 was conducted.
Background: Surgical resection is the main treatment for symptomatic nonfunctioning pituitary adenomas (NFPA). We aimed to analyze the impact of surgical approach, completeness of resection, and postoperative radiotherapy on long-term progression-free survival (PFS) of NFPA, using individual patient data (IPD) meta-analysis.
Methods: An electronic literature searched was conducted on PubMed, EMBASE, and Web of Science from database inception to 6 November 2022.
