The determination of dissolved iron concentrations and speciation was conducted for the first time in surface seawater coastline samples collected during the austral summer of 2020 in Admiralty Bay, King George Island, Antarctica. The technique of competitive ligand exchange/adsorptive cathodic stripping voltammetry with 2,3-dihydroxynaphthalene as the competing ligand was evaluated, showing a sensitivity between 14.25 and 21.
