Introduction: Depressive symptoms, bidirectionally associated with insomnia, are common comorbidity among patients with schizophrenia. The current literature lacks conclusive evidence about the mediating role of either positive or negative symptoms in the relationship between insomnia and depressive symptoms.

Aim/question: This study aimed to examine the mediating role of psychotic symptoms on the relationship between insomnia and depression in a sample of patients with schizophrenia.

Holistic Healing Through Mindfulness: An Experimental Study Addressing Psychological Challenges Among Nurses Caring for Patients With COVID-19.

This study aimed to evaluate the effect of mHealth-based mindfulness intervention on trait mindfulness, stress, anxiety, and depression among Registered Nurses caring for patients with COVID-19 in Jordan. Using a pretest-posttest parallel controlled design, 102 nurses from the King Abdullah University Hospital were randomly assigned into experimental ( = 51) and control ( = 51) groups. The experimental group received 5 weeks of individual 30-min mindfulness intervention sessions via WhatsApp.

The Association Between Workplace Violence and Psychological Distress Among Nurses Working in Psychiatric Hospitals in Jordan.

Purpose: To assess the prevalence of workplace violence (WPV) and investigate factors that contribute to psychological distress among psychiatric nurses in Jordan.

Perceived Stress and Resilience Among Psychiatric Nurses Working in Inpatients Units.

The aim of this study is to assess the levels, relationships, and predictors of resilience and perceived stress among psychiatric nurses working in inpatient units. A descriptive, cross-sectional, predictive design was employed to collect data from 140 psychiatric nurses through a self-reported questionnaire. The questionnaire consisted of sociodemographic and work-related variables, Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale (CD-RISC-25), and perceived stress scale (PSS-10).
