* This study tested L. sakei proBio65 (both live and dead) on children and adolescents with AD over 12 weeks, using a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled design.
* Results showed significant improvements in AD symptoms for both live and dead cell groups, including decreased SCORAD scores and increased skin sebum production, while the placebo group showed no significant change.

Lactobacillus acidophilus KFRI342, isolated from the Korean traditional food kimchi, was investigated for its suitability as a dietary probiotic. The effects of L. acidophilus KFRI342 on the development of chemically induced (1,2-dimethylhydrazine; DMH) precancerous cytological changes of the colon were investigated in rats.
