Purpose: Despite numerous studies on coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10) as a treatment for idiopathic male infertility (IMI), clear clinical guidance remains lacking. This systematic review and meta-analysis (SRMA) aimed to evaluate the efficacy of CoQ10 and determine the optimal dose, formulation, and treatment duration compared to placebo or other therapies.
Materials And Methods: We searched PubMed, Science Direct, and Cochrane Library using relevant keywords to identify studies assessing CoQ10's effects on sperm parameters, seminal CoQ10 levels, and clinical pregnancy rates in men with IMI.
Background: Priapism represents a rare urological emergency characterized by persistent penile erection unrelated to sexual stimulation. Although chlorpromazine-induced priapism has been documented, the synergistic interaction with phosphodiesterase type 5 inhibitors resulting in refractory cases necessitating penile prosthesis implantation constitutes a novel clinical scenario requiring comprehensive documentation.
Case Presentation: We report a 56-year-old male who developed refractory ischemic priapism following self-administration of oral chlorpromazine for hiccups, taken 24 h after tadalafil 20 mg for erectile dysfunction.
Purpose: The role of varicocele repair (VR) in infertile men with non-obstructive azoospermia (NOA) and varicocele is controversial in the current guidelines, despite available studies. This study aims to assess the impact of VR on testicular sperm retrieval, sperm recovery from the ejaculate, and clinical pregnancy rates in infertile men with NOA and clinical varicocele through a systematic review and meta-analysis (SRMA) of controlled studies.
Materials And Methods: A systematic literature search was conducted using the Scopus and PubMed databases up to November 2023.
Purpose: To investigate the impact of varicocele on pregnancy and live birth outcomes in men with clinical varicocele in controlled studies.
Materials And Methods: A comprehensive literature search was conducted across the PubMed and Scopus databases using Boolean operators, covering all available records from each database's inception through June 30, 2024. The inclusion criteria focused on controlled studies that compared pregnancy-related outcomes-including pregnancy, miscarriage, and live birth rates-between men with clinical varicocele and those without.
Purpose: Non-obstructive azoospermia (NOA), defined as the absence of sperm in the ejaculate due to testicular failure, is observed in 5% to 15% of infertile men and accounts for two-thirds of azoospermia cases. The management of NOA is marked by significant controversy and global variation in diagnostic and therapeutic approaches, highlighting the crucial need for well-designed and standardized clinical practice guidelines. We present comprehensive graded clinical practice recommendations and statements for diagnosing and treating NOA, aiming to establish standardized strategies that can globally help guide practitioners in their practice.

Purpose: In this systematic review and meta-analysis, we investigated the relationship between varicocele and sperm DNA fragmentation (SDF) alongside conventional semen parameters.
Materials And Methods: A comprehensive systematic search was conducted to identify articles on SDF in men with varicocele published in the Scopus and PubMed databases. This included observational studies investigating levels of SDF as a primary outcome and conventional semen parameters as secondary outcomes in men with varicocele compared to men without varicocele.
Erectile complaints are prevalent among young adults, with various factors potentially affecting sexual function and quality of life. This study investigates the impact of sleep quality and chronotype on erectile function in young adults who present with self-reported erectile difficulties. In this prospective study, 249 men with ED were included, assessed from January 2023 to July 2024.

Materials And Methods: A multidisciplinary team of clinicians and reproductive experts from the Global Andrology Forum (GAF) reviewed the latest evidence on SDF, covering indications, testing methods, recurrent pregnancy loss, varicocele and its repair, assisted reproductive technologies (ART), treatment of associated conditions, antioxidant therapy, and sperm selection for ART. Expert statements and recommendations were developed and graded with the GRADE system using a modified Delphi process.

Purpose: Varicocele is among the most common reversible causes of male infertility. Although varicocele is prevalent and there is a growing body of literature on the subject, there are still numerous debates surrounding the matter. This study presents Global Andrology Forum (GAF) clinical guidelines on the management of infertile men with varicocele.

Retrograde ejaculation (RE) is a condition where the forward expulsion of seminal fluid is impaired, leading to infertility and psychological distress in affected individuals. This narrative review examines the etiology, pathophysiology, diagnosis, and management of RE, emphasizing its impact on male fertility. RE may result in the partial or complete absence of the ejaculate.

Purpose: Premature ejaculation (PE) is a commonly encountered male sexual dysfunction (MSD) with various definitions, diagnostic criteria, and treatment options, leading to significant heterogeneity and controversy in its management. This study aimed to explore the global practice patterns of the diagnosis and management of PE.
Materials And Methods: A cross-sectional, global, online survey on PE was conducted using a questionnaire developed by an international cohort of experts.

Background: Insulin resistance resulting in endothelial dysfunction is related to erectile dysfunction. The triglyceride and glucose index is a low-cost, practical, and easily accessible parameter for determining insulin resistance. We aimed to reveal the relationship between the triglyceride and glucose index and the severity of erectile dysfunction.

Materials And Methods: Twelve manuscripts written by the Global Andrology Forum (GAF) members between 2023 and 2024 were randomly selected for this study. The manuscripts and "Quotation Verification Sheets" were analyzed by senior GAF researchers to detect the number and types of quotation errors.
Hormonal factors play an essential role as an underlying causative factor of oligoasthenoteratozoospermia (OAT), and these patients can benefit from hormonal medications that modulate the hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal axis. This review aims to outline the various medications used as hormonal therapy in treating infertile men with OAT. This manuscript focuses on essential hormonal evaluation, identifying men who would benefit from treatment, selecting the appropriate medication, determining the duration of therapy, and evaluating hormonal treatment outcomes.

Male factor infertility is a multifaceted problem that affects approximately 50% of couples suffering from infertility. Causes of male infertility include endocrine disturbances, gonadotoxins, genetic abnormalities, varicocele, malignancies, infections, congenital or acquired urogenital abnormalities, iatrogenic factors, immunological factors, and idiopathic reasons. There are a variety of treatment options for male infertility, depending on the underlying cause(s).

Materials And Methods: A comprehensive search of the Scopus, PubMed, Embase, and Cochrane Library databases was conducted using a specific query string to identify studies examining the impact of VR on ART outcomes, including fertilization rate, clinical pregnancy, pregnancy loss, and live-birth rate, until October 2023. Outcomes were analyzed based on the type of ART.
