Background/objectives: Extract (SIRTMAX) has been reported to alleviate obesity. However, few studies have investigated this topic and none have evaluated its potential among Koreans. Therefore, we aimed to evaluate the efficacy of extract in body fat reduction among Korean adults.

This double-blind, randomized clinical trial aimed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of B-3 (BB-3) for reducing body fat. Healthy individuals were randomized into the BB-3 or placebo group (1:1). Dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry was used to evaluate body fat reduction objectively.

Anti-Wrinkle Efficacy of Edible Bird's Nest Extract: A Randomized, Double-Blind, Placebo-Controlled, Comparative Study.

This study aimed to evaluate skin health's functional improvement, such as wrinkles, elasticity, moisture, and whitening, and safety following the consumption of "edible bird's nest extract" for 12 weeks by women. This single-center, double-blinded, parallel-group, placebo-controlled study included women aged 40-60 years. Our primary purpose was to assess improvement in skin wrinkles, elasticity, and moisture after 12 weeks using an SV700, cutometer, and corneometer, respectively, compared to baseline measurements.
