The health policy triangle first presented in the 20th century by Walt and Gilson has been extensively used at local, national, regional, and international levels to assess health policies related to communicable and non-communicable diseases, physical and mental health, antenatal and postnatal care, and human resources, services, and systems. However, the framework lacks intricate details for the four pillars in the triangle viz: 'content,' 'context', 'actors', and 'processes. • The study aimed to evaluate the toxicity and antihyperuricemic effects of a polyherbal formulation named "Goubion," which includes various plant parts.
  • Acute toxicity tests showed no mortality at high doses (2000 mg/kg), but some significant changes in blood and kidney parameters at lower doses (60 mg/kg).
  • In antihyperuricemic tests, Goubion effectively lowered uric acid levels at doses of 15 mg/kg and 20 mg/kg, suggesting it may work by inhibiting xanthine oxidase dehydrogenase.
