Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFASs) are a large group of emerging organic pollutants that contaminate the environment, food, and consumer products. Textiles and other outdoor products are a major source of PFAS exposure due to their water-repellent impregnations. Determination of PFASs in textiles is increasingly important for enhancing their contribution to the circular economy.

Understanding early molecular events driving HGSC progression is crucial for timely detection and development of effective treatment strategies. We performed and integrated spatial cell-type resolved proteomics and paired transcriptomics across 25 women with precursor lesions of the fallopian tube and/or HGSC.

One feature of atrial cardiomyopathy is the development of fibrosis, with low-voltage zones (LVZ) identified by invasive electroanatomic mapping as an accepted surrogate parameter. A mediator of pathological remodeling is epicardial adipose tissue (EAT).

This study aims to estimate global alcohol consumption from 2000 to 2020, and the global burden of alcohol-attributable harms from 2000 to 2019.
Methods: In this global analysis, adult per capita consumption data estimates were modelled on the basis of sales, survey, and traveller data.
