This study investigates the effects of Stokes drift, wind drift factor and angle on oil transport using the MEDSLIK-II model, focusing on the 2019 P-53 platform spill in Brazilian waters. Model accuracy was assessed by the difference in distances between simulated and observed trajectories from Synthetic Aperture Radar. Sixteen simulations tested different wind drift angles (10°-45°), drift factors (0 %, 3 % and 6 %), and Stokes drift inclusion.

Design: We performed SRMA of randomised controlled trials (RCTs) comparing ePRO interventions with usual care in patients with cancer. The primary outcome was HRQoL.

, known as group B streptococci (GBS), colonizes the digestive and genitourinary tracts and causes neonatal diseases and infections in immunocompromised and elderly individuals. GBS neonatal disease prevention includes intrapartum antibiotic prophylaxis. We characterized 101 GBS isolates obtained from patients in João Pessoa, northeastern Brazil, owing to the need to develop and implement vaccines to prevent GBS infections.
