Objective: This systematic review aimed to evaluate and compare the analgesic efficacy of intra-articular morphine versus other agents in managing arthrogenic TMJ disorders.
Study Design: The review adhered to PRISMA guidelines and was registered in PROSPERO (CRD420251011088). A comprehensive search was conducted across PubMed, EMBASE, Scopus, Web of Science, and OVID for randomized controlled trials (RCTs) published up to March 2025.

7-Ketocholesterol (7-KC) is a biologically active oxysterol formed through the oxidation of cholesterol, predominantly under conditions of oxidative stress. It is generated both enzymatically in specific tissues such as the brain and liver, and non-enzymatically via reactive oxygen species (ROS), especially in aging tissues and heat-processed animal-derived foods. 7-KC exerts multifaceted effects on human health, extending beyond lipid metabolism to disrupt glucose and amino acid utilization, impair mitochondrial function, and provoke endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress.

Design: Retrospective interventional case series.
Methods: Eyes with symptomatic GA secondary to AMD were treated with 15mg of intravitreal pegcetacoplan and participated in an ongoing prospective swept-source optical coherence tomography angiography (SS-OCTA) imaging study.
Background: The Stoppa approach was modified to manage fractures of the anterior column as an alternative to the ilioinguinal approach to reduce complications. A debate persists regarding the superiority of one approach over the other. Therefore, in the present study we performed a randomized controlled trial (RCT) to investigate the following hypotheses: (1) Whether the modified Stoppa approach leads to reduced blood loss, (2) Whether the functional and radiological outcomes with the modified Stoppa approach are superior to those with the ilioinguinal approach, and (3) Whether the complication rates differ between the two approaches.
