The amphibian dissection for medical students was halted by the restrictions imposed by the National regulatory guidelines, prompting medical curricula to revise and innovate instructional methods. Hence there is a critical need for potential innovative solutions to enhance students' understanding of physiological concepts. Therefore, this study aimed (a) to evaluate the gain in knowledge and retention with computer assisted simulation (CAS) vs traditional (TT) teaching learning strategies in first year medical and paramedical students, and (b) to obtain students' and faculty feedback about strengths and limitations of both strategies.

Methods And Results: This study aimed to investigate lncRNA expression profiles of Withania somnifera (WS)-treated human neuroblastoma SK-N-SH cells at different timepoints (3 & 9 h) and concentrations (50 & 100 µg/mL) using RNA sequencing. Differential gene expression analysis showed a total of 4772 differentially expressed lncRNAs, out of which 3971 were upregulated and 801 were downregulated compared to controls.
Background Increased intracranial pressure (ICP) can be reliably detected at the bedside using the optic nerve sheath diameter (ONSD). The functional outcome in stroke patients can be predicted with the use of acute-phase ONSD dynamics. Objectives To determine the predictive accuracy of ONSD on days 0, one, and three for the prognosis of ischemic stroke patients presented to emergency medicine as measured by Modified Rankin Scale (mRS) score.

Hence, the present study was conducted to evaluate the influence of tea, coffee, and turmeric solutions on the colour stability of commercially available heat-cured and autopolymerizing denture base acrylic resins as well as a soft lining material. Methods Twenty-four rectangular samples measuring 20 mm × 15 mm × 2 mm were prepared for each type of test material.
