Bedside repair of scrotoschisis with local anaesthesia for a neonate with bilateral testicular evisceration.

Scrotoschisis is a congenital opening in the scrotal wall that allows extrusion of one or both testicles. We describe a newborn male who was found to have exteriorisation of both testes through a 2 cm midline defect in the anterior wall of the scrotum. Both testes were stained with meconium.
