Aim: To measure the change in Wound Bed Score in wounds of acute musculoskeletal injury patients before and after applying a low-cost wall-mounted negative-pressure wound therapy device.
Method: The study involved 50 patients aged 18 and older who had acute musculoskeletal wounds and underwent surgical debridement with subsequent requirement of wound coverage. Dressings were done using a low-cost wall-mounted negative-pressure wound therapy (NPWT) device set at a constant pressure of 125 mmHg for 48 h.

Background: Currently used scoring systems require complex calculation and training so it is not routinely used like GCS despite increase in trauma cases. All the scoring systems evaluate patients once initially without considering role of resuscitation. So, we propose a sequential scoring system for all levels of trauma to predict the survival outcome related to the initial injury severity and the treatment response in first 24 h of trauma by simple summation of routinely used data.

Introduction: Giant cell tumor (GCT) is a benign locally aggressive tumor with features of frequent recurrence and metastatic potential. GCT of small bones of hand and feet is rare with high recurrence and potential to metastasis. This study aims to provide a case report of GCT of the first metatarsal treated with wide excision, autologous fibular grafting, and fixation with locking plate.

Methods: All authors independently searched for peer reviewed publications with keywords like discoid lateral meniscus, tibial menisci abnormalities, tibial menisci surgery and clinical outcome and their representative Medical Subjects Headings (MeSH) in databases of PubMed, EBSCO, Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials, from inception to December 2022. Original articles in English language on discoid lateral meniscus reporting clinical, surgical, or radiological outcomes with five or more years of follow-up were included in this systematic review.

Introduction: Tuberculosis (TB) of pubic symphysis is an extremely uncommon condition accounting <1% of all musculoskeletal TB. Further recurrence of TB of symphysis pubis is a rare clinical scenario requiring a high level of suspicion for diagnosing the condition. Recurrence of tuberculosis can occur either be due to relapse of the original infection or reinfection due to exogenous Mycobacterium tuberculosis strain.
