Objective: As Nepalese pregnant women vary widely in literacy levels and cultural backgrounds and are reluctant to make decisions about their health, general interventions are insufficient to improve maternal anemia. This study aimed to assess the effectiveness of "face-to-face health education using educational material created using pictures, photos, and nomograms" in reducing anemia and improving health literacy.
Methods: A total of 156 Nepalese pregnant women with hemoglobin (Hb) levels below 11.

Objectives: To identify the complex factors associated with anemia and overweight/obesity in pregnant Nepali women.
Methods: This study was conducted with 609 pregnant women who visited the Western Regional Hospital in Pokhara, Nepal, for maternal health checkups. We assessed their nutritional status on the basis of their responses to a questionnaire (socio-economic, demographic and health information using the Nepali version of the 14-item Health Literacy Scale), hemoglobin levels and body mass index (BMI).

This paper reports the microwave hydrothermal synthesis of TiO2 nanotubes and their characterization. Structural properties of the as synthesized materials were investigated by X-ray Diffraction (XRD), Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) and Raman Spectroscopy. Results revealed that the TiO2 nanotubes consists of different layers of titanates (Na2Ti4O9, H2Ti5O11 x H2O, ZnTiO3).

Structural, morphological, compositional and optical properties were analyzed by means of X-ray Diffraction (XRD), Raman Spectroscopy, Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), and UV-Vis diffuse reflectance spectroscopy (UV-Vis DRS) methods. Photocatalytic activity was performed by the decomposition of Rhodamine B (Rh B) under visible light irradiation.

This Paper reports the photocatalytic activity of g-C3N4/NaTaO3 hybrid composite photocatalysts synthesized by ball-mill method. The g-C3N4 and NaTaO3 were individually prepared by Solid state reaction and microwave hydrothermal process, respectively. The g-C3N4/NaTaO3 composite showed the enhanced photocatalytic activity for degradation of rhodamine B dye (Rh.
