Imaging Features in Pancreatic Neuroendocrine Tumor with Intraductal Growth and Venous Invasion: A Case Report and Literature Review.

Pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (PanNETs) are a rare type of pancreatic neoplasm. PanNETs with intraductal growth are considered extremely rare, and ductal involvement in NETs has been reported to correlate with aggressive clinical behavior. A 67-year-old male was referred to our hospital for further evaluation of a pancreatic tumor.

Double low protocol in pediatric abdominal CT for evaluating right lower quadrant pain.

Purpose: In pediatric patients, minimizing radiation and contrast media exposure without compromising diagnostic accuracy is paramount. Double low protocol, which utilizes a low dose contrast concentration and low tube voltage, could be a safer alternative. We compare diagnostic efficacy of double low protocol (Group A, 240 mgI/ml + 80 kVp) with conventional protocol (Group B, 350 mgI/ml + 120 kVp) in pediatric patients (< 10 years) presenting with abdominal pain and suspected acute appendicitis.

Important radiological and clinicopathological risk factors for the recurrence of intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasms after surgical resection.

Objectives: To assess significant radiological and clinicopathological risk factors for post-surgery recurrence in patients with intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasm (IPMN).

Materials And Methods: Patients with IPMNs who underwent surgery from 2011 to 2021 at a single center were retrospectively included. Two reviewers evaluated CT findings according to international guidelines.

Small pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (≤ 2 cm): different imaging and clinicopathologic features according to extrapancreatic extension.

Purpose: To assess features of small pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (s-PDA, ≤ 2 cm) according to extrapancreatic extension (EPE) and predictors for recurrence.

Methods: This retrospective study included patients diagnosed with s-PDA who underwent surgery between January 2004 and October 2021. Preoperative CT or MRI images were reviewed by two reviewers.
