Background: The Mental Health Care Act, 2017 led the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India to issue directives which mandated every insurer to make provisions for treatment of persons with mental illness. While many insurance companies tried to adhere to the directives, the ground reality was far from desirable.

Aims: An exploratory study was conducted with the aim of understanding the status of insurance companies toward the inclusion of mental illness under health insurance coverage in India.

Background: Intergenerational conflicts with parents or grandparents have been shown to have adverse effects on young people. Inevitably these conflicts influence the mental health and well-being of young people.

Aims: The scoping review aimed to identify the extent of existing literature related to intergenerational conflicts in a familial context, including the factors associated with those conflicts and the interventions addressing intergenerational issues.

Background: The onset of psychosis brings unfamiliar experiences that can be disturbing for patients and their caregivers. Few studies from India (only one from North India) have examined these experiences from the perspective of the patient and caregiver.
