Pyoderma gangrenosum is a rare, ulcerative skin condition with complex diagnostic and therapeutic challenges, particularly in cases without associated systemic conditions. We present the case of a 71-year-old female with a chronic, non-healing ulcer, initially unresponsive to conventional topical treatments. After a thorough evaluation and biopsy, a diagnosis of pyoderma gangrenosum was made.

This case describes a 5-year-old Caucasian girl who initially presented with painless neck and back swelling as well as severe limitation of movement in the neck and shoulder girdle, who was diagnosed as FOP following tissue-based genetic testing revealing the ACVR1 (p.Arg206His) pathogenic variant.

Delgocitinib, a pan-JAK inhibitor, has emerged as a promising topical treatment for CHE, targeting key cytokine-mediated inflammatory pathways involved in the disease. Delgocitinib 20 mg/g (2%) cream was approved by the European Medicines Agency (EMA) in 2024 for moderate-to-severe CHE, and its U.

Objective: Psoriasis is a chronic inflammatory skin disease with significant physical and psychological burden, often associated with comorbidities such as obesity and cardiovascular disease. Current treatments include conventional systemic therapies and targeted biologic and non-biologic therapies, with several limitations related to safety, efficacy, and cost. Roflumilast, a selective PDE4 inhibitor, shows potential as an oral therapy for psoriasis due to its anti-inflammatory effects and favorable safety profile.

Atopic dermatitis (AD) is a common chronic inflammatory skin disease involving complex immune dysregulation, including the OX40-OX40L pathway. Rocatinlimab and amlitelimab, monoclonal antibodies targeting OX40 and OX40L, respectively, have shown promise in treating moderate-to-severe AD. Both therapies have demonstrated significant efficacy in reducing disease severity, with favorable safety profiles and no serious treatment-related adverse events.

Background: Patients with major depression often suffer from excessive interpersonal sensitivity, although it is not typically measured in antidepressant clinical trials. Preliminary evidence suggests selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors have the capacity to reduce interpersonal sensitivity.
Methods: This was a pooled analysis of data from 1709 patients in three randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trials of fluoxetine and paroxetine for acute major depressive disorder.
Metastatic melanoma is a deadly disease that claims thousands of lives each year despite the introduction of several immunotherapeutic agents into the clinic over the past decade, inspiring the development of novel therapeutics and the exploration of combination therapies. Our investigations target melanin pigment with melanin-specific radiolabeled antibodies as a strategy to treat metastatic melanoma. In this study, a theranostic approach was applied by first labeling a chimeric antibody targeting melanin, c8C3, with the SPECT radionuclide Pb for microSPECT/CT imaging of C57Bl6 mice bearing B16-F10 melanoma tumors.
