Acute myeloid leukemia (AML) is a heterogeneous group of malignancies with poor prognosis. AML result from the proliferation of immature myeloid cells blocked at a variable stage of differentiation. Beyond inter-patient heterogeneity, AMLs are characterized by genetic and phenotypic intra-patient heterogeneity.
