Background: Endoscopic-assisted transaxillary dual-plane augmentation mammaplasty is favored for its aesthetic advantages and minimal visible scarring. However, the optimal dissection tool between harmonic scalpel (HS) or monopolar electrotome (ME) remains debated due to limited comparative data.

Methods: A systematic review and meta-analysis were conducted by searching PubMed, Embase, and Cochrane Library for studies comparing HS and ME in endoscopic-assisted transaxillary dual-plane augmentation mammaplasty.

Studies about atherosclerosis markers in thalassemia patients show inconsistent results.

This research endeavors to assess the prevalence of mosaicism and its characteristics within the scope of our preimplantation genetic testing-A (PGT-A) services in Indonesia. Specifically focusing on our center's experience since 2020, this study aims to elucidate mosaic rates among embryos in our care.

To effectively influence smallholder practices and ensure positive social outcomes, such schemes must consider the variety in perspectives of farmers and align with their priorities.

We identified the prevalence of food cravings and evaluated its relationship with personality traits in pregnant women.

This study aimed to assess the combined clinical and ultrasound criteria as a diagnostic tool for screening the Y chromosome related to primary amenorrhea. This cross-sectional study involving 59 subjects was taken from medical records at the Reproductive Immunoendocrinology Polyclinic of Cipto Mangunkusumo General Hospital, Jakarta, Indonesia. The medical records of subjects were then cross-checked with karyotyping analysis results.

Membrane Assemblies with Soft Protective Layers: Dense and Gel-Type Polybenzimidazole Membranes and Their Use in Vanadium Redox Flow Batteries.

Polybenzimidazole (PBI) membranes show excellent chemical stability and low vanadium crossover in vanadium redox flow batteries (VRFBs), but their high resistance is challenging. This work introduces a concept, membrane assemblies of a highly selective 2 µm thin PBI membrane between two 60 µm thick highly conductive PBI gel membranes, which act as soft protective layers against external mechanical forces and astray carbon fibers from the electrode. The soft layers are produced by casting phosphoric acid solutions of commercial PBI powder into membranes and exchanging the absorbed acid into sulfuric acid.

COVID-19 has been correlated with the development of hypercoagulable state that predisposes the patients to a higher risk of thromboembolism. Current evidence suggests higher incidence of thrombosis, particularly venous thrombosis, among hospitalized COVID-19 patients, mostly with critical illness.
