Background: The distinction between normal and high blood pressure remains a debated topic, with varying guidelines on when to start medication. Contemporary guidelines advocate for the initiation of antihypertensive therapy in individuals who present with high-normal blood pressure, particularly those exhibiting elevated 10-year atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease (ASCVD) risk scores. Despite these recommendations, there is a notable lack of direct evidence supporting the efficacy of treating high-normal blood pressure to prevent major adverse cardiovascular events (MACE).

Objective: To assess and compare the potential lipid-lowering effects of kefir drink with low-fat milk in a dairy-rich diet in overweight or obese premenopausal women.
Methods: In this 8-week, single-center, multiarm, parallel-group, outpatient, randomized controlled trial, 75 eligible Iranian women aged 25 to 45 years were randomly allocated to kefir, milk, or control groups.
Background: Prevalence of diabetes mellitus type 2 (DM) is increasing globally. Considering the potential role of poly-unsaturated fatty acids in prevention of DM type 2 and lipid profiles improvement, some studies have been carried out on walnut. However, there are no studies on control of blood sugar in DM type 2 patients using walnut.
