According to reports on the significant impact of oxidative stress caused by noise exposure on the development of cognitive, behavioral and functional impairments in the brain, as well as the beneficial effect of antioxidants in mitigating neurotoxicity and behavioral issues, this study aimed to investigate the outcomes of noise exposure and evaluate the protective effect of Benfotiamine against the neurotoxic effects, depression and oxidative stress caused by noise exposure. In this study, adult male BALB/c mice were randomly divided into groups of 10 animals each: Control (C), Noise exposure (N), Noise exposure with 100 mg/kg of Benfotiamine (NB1), noise exposure with 200 mg/kg of Benfotiamine (NB2) and noise exposure with N-acetylcysteine (NN). Depressive-like behavior was assessed using the Tail Suspension Test (TST), Forced Swimming Test (FST) and Sucrose Preference Test (SPT).

Background: Environmental pollution, particularly noise exposure, may contribute to the development and progression of cardiovascular disorders by triggering oxidative stress and inflammatory pathways. This study evaluated the protective effects of benfotiamine (BFT) supplementation and moderate-intensity continuous training (MICT), alone or in combination, against noise-induced cardiac damage in male mice.
Methods And Results: Eight-week-old mice (n = 8/group) were divided into six groups: control, noise-exposed (Noise) subjected to 100 dB (dB), noise + moderate-intensity continuous exercise training (MICT), noise + BFT group (200 mg/kg/day), noise + MICT + BFT, and noise + N-acetylcysteine (NAC) groups.
Background: Testicular torsion is a critical urological emergency that can lead to testicular ischemia and significant tissue damage. Citrulline, a supplement known for enhancing cellular metabolism and mitigating oxidative stress and inflammation, has been explored for its protective effects against testicular injury resulting from torsion and detorsion in rat models.
Methods: This study involved 42 Wistar rats, divided into six groups: Sham, torsion/detorsion (T/D), and four groups receiving varying doses of Citrulline (300, 600, 900 ) and vitamin E (20 ).
Gastric ulcers are a common gastrointestinal disorder associated with significant morbidity and mortality. It can also increase the risk of gastric cancer. This study aimed to investigate the effect of benfotiamine on experimentally-induced gastric ulcers in male rats.

Sepsis is a life-threatening condition caused by the body's response to an infection. Dapsone is a sulfone with antibiotic properties, and experimental evidence suggests it has significant anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidative stress effects. The objective of this study was to investigate the efficacy of dapsone in mice after CLP (cecal ligation and puncture) surgery, which is a model for inducing sepsis.

Materials And Methods: D-galactose was administrated subcutaneously in a mouse model for eight weeks in order to induce renal aging.
