Background: Surgical removal of impacted mandibular wisdom teeth may be associated with postoperative complications such as infection, bleeding, edema, pain, ecchymosis and trismus. It seems that the number of sutures and the duration of surgery for impacted wisdom teeth are among the factors affecting the aforementioned complications.

Purpose: This study aimed to compare single-suture versus multiple-suture techniques regarding postoperative pain, trismus, edema, ecchymosis, and operating time in surgical removal of impacted mandibular wisdom teeth by envelope flap surgery.

Radiotherapy was commonly applied to treat benign skin diseases such as tinea capitis. Some patients treated with radiation have developed skin malignancies over the years. This article reported a 72-year-old man presenting with two distinct non-melanoma skin tumors on his scalp, including squamous cell carcinoma and metastatic pleomorphic sarcoma.

Human Neutrophil Antigen Genotype and Allele Frequencies in Iranian Blood Donors.

Objective: Human neutrophil antigens (HNAs) can be targeted by HNA-allo antibodies and cause a variety of clinical conditions such as transfusion-related acute lung injury (TRALI) and neonatal alloimmune neutropenia (NAIN). Effects of anisotropy in correlation structure on reliability-based slope stability analysis of a landfill.

In this study, a reliability-based analysis of slope stability in a landfill considering the spatial variability of shear strength (c and ) and unit weight () of municipal solid waste was performed using the random finite difference method. The effect of the anisotropic correlation (AC) structure of random variables including c, , and on mean and coefficient of variation (CoV) of safety factor values was investigated using Monte Carlo simulation. Also, probability of failure was determined through probability distribution fitting to a series of safety factor data.
