Background: Dyskinetic cerebral palsy (DCP) is a severe subtype of cerebral palsy in which children often present substantial functional impairment and multiple comorbidities. Our knowledge of the clinical picture of DCP is limited and our understanding of which markers best predict later impairment is scarce. This study aims to describe the presentation of DCP and examine the value of gestational age (GA) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) findings as early markers of eventual DCP prognosis.

Aims: Mortality after a hip fracture has declined in recent years, but the risk of complications remains high. The aim of this study was to identify non-modifiable and, specifically, modifiable factors associated with the development of complications after hip fracture.

Methods: This was a multicentre, prospective cohort study of adults aged ≥ 60 years with a hip fracture who were treated in 77 hospitals in England, Wales, and Northern Ireland between July 2014 and November 2021.

Objectives: To compare the virologic effectiveness and discontinuation of the commonly prescribed fixed-dose combination 3-drug and 2-drug regimens, bictegravir/emtricitabine/tenofovir alafenamide (B/F/TAF) and dolutegravir/lamivudine (DTG/3TC), in virologically suppressed individuals in routine clinical care in the US.

Methods: From the OPERA cohort, ART-experienced, virologically suppressed (viral load <200 copies/mL) adults with HIV who switched to B/F/TAF or DTG/3TC (01AUG2020-30JUN2022) were followed through 31DEC2022, death, loss to follow-up or discontinuation. Cox proportional hazard models with stabilized inverse probability of treatment weights were used to assess the association between regimen and time to confirmed virologic failure (cVF; 2 viral loads ≥200 copies/mL or 1 viral load ≥200 copies/mL + discontinuation) or time to discontinuation.

Breed is a ubiquitous classifier for both companion and working dogs, with profound implications for perceived and/or anticipated behavior, cognition, physiology, athleticism, and "temperament". Owners, breeders, shelters and others are frequently asked to report on the known or suspected breed(s) of their dogs in various scenarios affecting dog and human wellbeing. However, there is a paucity of research on breed reporting accuracy.

Objective: The current study used Ecological Momentary Assessment (EMA) and four years of survey data to examine whether history of cannabis advertising exposure in early young adulthood, and more proximal ad exposure, are associated with event-level THC vaping.

Method: Young adults in California (N = 119) completed annual surveys in a longitudinal cohort study from 2018 to 2022 (ages 22-25) and participated in an EMA study on vaping in 2023 (ages 25-26). Annual surveys assessed cannabis advertising exposure, and EMA surveys assessed exposure to advertisements for THC vaping products, other cannabis product advertisements, and THC vaping.
