Quantum phase transition in the Casten pyramid using entanglement entropy in the semi-classical approximation of IBM-2.

In this research, the quantum phase transition (QPT) in the Casten pyramid has been investigated using entanglement entropy. Energy surfaces and the entanglement entropy have been obtained within the framework of semi-classical approximation interacting boson model-2 (IBM-2) using Schmidt decomposition and coherent states formalism. The results showed that the entanglement entropy is a suitable and efficient tool for investigating QPT and determining critical points in the connected pathes to the [Formula: see text] limit, and pathes of [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text].

Algebraic Study of diatomic Molecules: homonuclear molecules H and N.

It is the aim of this study to discuss for two-body systems like homonuclear molecules in which eigenvalues and eigenfunctions are obtained by exact solutions of the solvable models based on SU(1, 1) Lie algebras. Exact solutions of the solvable Hamiltonian regarding the relative motion in a two-body system on Lie algebras were obtained. The U(1) ↔ O(2), U(3) ↔ O(4) and U(3) ↔ O(4) transitional Hamiltonians are employed to described for H and N molecules.

Measurability of D-concurrence.

An effective approach to quantify entanglement of any bipartite systems is D-concurrence, which is important in quantum information science. In this paper, we present a direct method for experimental determination of the D-concurrence of an arbitrary bipartite pure state. To do this, we show that measurement of the D-concurrence of bipartite pure state can be conversed into the measurement performed on some observables so called generalized Gell-Mann operators.

The Burden of Road Traffic Injuries in Yazd Province - Iran.

Objectives: To estimate the Disabled-adjusted Life Years DALYs) of Road Traffic Accidents in patients referred to hospitals in Yazd Province, central Iran.

Methods: This cross-sectional study was conducted in Yazd province during 2010. To calculate the Years of Life Lost (YLL) due to premature death and to calculate the incidence of non-fatal injuries and Years Lost due to Disability (YLD), the data were collected from Yazd death registration system and hospital records.
