Pelvic radiotherapy is an acceptable and promising treatment modality for various pelvic malignancies. However, it is associated with radiation-induced injury on surrounding structures with a preference for the rectum, which is characteristically fixed in the pelvic region. Acute radiation proctitis is usually self-limiting, but in its chronic form, it can be debilitating.

Introduction: Hepatitis D virus (HDV) is a satellite virus of hepatitis B virus (HBV). An estimated 5% of HBV infected individuals worldwide have HDV infection. There is paucity of studies in Nigeria on the burden of HDV infection.

A probable right atrial myxoma prolapsing through the tricuspid valve into the right ventricle: a case report.

Introduction: Myxoma is the most common primary cardiac tumour. This case report illustrates the case of a probable right atrial myxoma prolapsing through the tricuspid valve into the right ventricle, and the fatal outcome if such a mass is not promptly detected and excised.

Case Presentation: A 51-year old man presented with a 1-year history of recurrent pedal and abdominal swelling, and 6-month history of progressive dyspnoea on exertion.
