Diabetic wounds, particularly diabetic foot ulcers (DFUs), are related to delayed healing, chronic inflammation, and increased risk of amputation. Key pathological factors include hyperglycemia-induced oxidative stress, neuropathy, immune dysfunction, and impaired angiogenesis.
