Background: We investigated whether the association between blood pressure (BP) management in patients with successful reperfusion following endovascular therapy (EVT) and functional outcomes is mediated by BP variability parameters.

Methods And Results: This is a post hoc analysis of the OPTIMAL-BP (Outcome in Patients Treated With Intra-Arterial Thrombectomy-Optimal Blood Pressure Control) trial, conducted at 19 centers in South Korea. The primary outcome was the 90-day functional outcome, assessed using the modified Rankin Scale.

Background: The reverse obliquity fracture of the proximal femur (AO/OTA 31-A3) is mechanically different from most intertrochanteric fractures. The purpose of this study was to compare the results of proximal femoral nail (PFN) fixation with those of gamma nail (GN) fixation for these fractures.

Methods: Between 1993 and 2003, 635 of the fractures were classified as intertrochanteric or subtrochanteric.

A water-soluble fullerene [C60] is prepared with fullerene [C60] and a mixture of strong inorganic acids at the ratio (v/v) of 3:1 under ultrasonic condition at 25-43 degrees C. The MALDI-TOF MS and 13C-NMR spectra confirmed that the product of a water-soluble fullerene compound was C60.
